“Round 3 - Sunday 29th January saw our junior pennant team venture to Barwon Heads Golf Club to take on the powerful Curlewis Golf Club.
Unfortunately we were defeated 3.5 matches to 1.5 matches.
Did Sophie Hood win? Of course Sophie won!! 4 up with 3 to play.
Max Edmanson shared the honours in his match. Jack Martin, Paddy Taylor and our young stand in (recruit) from 13th Beach, Charlie Larsen all played very well but were unable to hold off their opponents, with Jack & Charlie taking their matches to the 18th.
We were very competitive, demonstrated club and team pride, striving for victory & showing great skills but most importantly we enjoyed ourselves.
Next week we take on Barwon Valley @ Barwon Valley Golf Course hitting off at 8am – see you there!!.”
