It is with regret that we announce the retirement of our long serving Treasurer, Graeme McGregor.
Graeme has held this important position since October 2006 and his steady hand and financial diligence over that time has guided the growth and development of the Portarlington Golf Club to the prosperity and success which it enjoys today. As a result, at the Annual General Meeting in October, Graeme was awarded with Life Membership.
While Graeme will not officially hold the position of Treasurer, he will continue to sit on the Finance and Building Committees where his extensive financial experience and guidance will be invaluable.
The Board, at its’ meeting on 17th December, unanimously endorsed the appointment of Peter Solohub to fill the casual vacancy until the Annual General Meeting in 2019 when members will formally elect the new Treasurer.
