Portarlington Golf Club receives Federal Government Grant $90,000
Portarlington Golf Club was successful in an application for a grant of $90,000 under the Community Sport Infrastructure Program, as announced by Sarah Henderson M.P. member for Corangamite, to Members of the Club on Saturday 9th February.
The grant will finance the recently constructed playground that will allow the Club to introduce new sporting, health and wellbeing activities, such as Yoga, Palates and Zumba classes. The activities will welcome a new generation to enjoy the Club facilities, while having their children occupied by the playground at the same time. Grandparents will also be able to attend with their grandchildren and join in the fun.
