BLUE TEES
· The Golf Committee has decided to retain the position of the relocated blue tee on the Par 3 17th hole.
· A report for the last 12 months revealed the need to address the indexing for the blue tees.
· Therefore the index for the blue tees will be updated and come into effect from Thursday 1 August 2019.
MEN’S QUARTERLY MEDAL
· The Golf Committee is pleased to advise the introduction of a Tuesday men’s medal event to be scheduled every three months.
· The four medal events per year will be stroke nett competitions played off the permanent black tees.
· Only one medal will be awarded each Quarterly Medal day.
· In the event of a tie, the medallist will be determined by the normal G.A. count back system.
· Winners of the Quarterly Medal are not eligible to compete in the Saturday Medallist of the Year playoff.
· Dates for the upcoming 12 months – 6/8/2019, 12/11/2019, 4/2/2020, 5/5/2020.

· The leading two men and two women from Portarlington will qualify to participate in the District Qualifying Round to be played at Queenscliff on Sunday 8 September 2019
· Winners of the District Final go on to the State Final at Metropolitan Golf Club on Sunday 24 November 2019
· The leading two men and two women from the State Final will qualify to play in the 2019 Emirates Australian Open Play 9 National Final at The Australian Golf Club in Sydney on Saturday 7 December 2019
