General information for members.

Over the last few weeks the ground staff have done a terrific job cleaning up the damage from the freak storm. However, there is still some work to be done.

So as we are now playing competition most of the damaged areas have been marked GUR. It is difficult to mark every area due to the extent of the damage.

Damaged areas have been marked with Stakes painted white with white lines, some areas are marked with white lines and some may just have a GUR sign.

The area behind the fourth green has tree branches piled up ready for removal. Under the rules of Golf players can take free relief. Adjacent to the tree branches there is one tree trunk, this is marked GUR and relief must be taken.

Please take note that certain damaged areas have been marked as drop zones, these are not compulsory and you have the option of taking relief at the nearest point of relief or using the drop zone.

Drop zones are located adjacent to the fairway bunker on the right side of the tenth hole and areas to the left of the tenth and ninth holes where trees have been cleaned up.“

Good Golfing and welcome back to Competition.
