HOORAY, The Premier of Victoria has announced this morning some easing of restrictions in regional Victoria. Victoria has moved to the third step of the road map out of COVID-19 and with this will change some of our playing conditions.
We have just received information from the State Government and Golf Australia at 5:10 pm tonight stating that golf clubs will receive further clarification and more information on THURSDAY of how golf will be effected by the easing of restrictions.
I wish i could give you more clarity (i have my own views of how the changes will look) but until we find out definitively from the Govt of we are all guessing.
In the meantime WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY WILL REMAIN PLAYING IN GROUPS OF 2.
WHEN WE RECEIVE NOTIFICATION FROM THE GOVERNING BODIES WE WILL LET ALL MEMBERS KNOW HOW THE CHANGES WILL AFFECT THE GOLF COURSE AND CLUBHOUSE OPERATIONS.
