To All Members:
I am very honoured to be appointed by the Board as the CEO of Portarlington Golf Club, following in the footsteps of a well-respected CEO in Ron Stockdale.
I am committed to leading the club forward to a very successful future to the benefit of our members. My focus during these Covid times is to develop a ‘Way Ahead Plan’ orientated around our purpose as a golf club.
The challenges of Covid will be around for some time so we need to continue to focus on controlling our costs while developing strategies to drive revenue as the government increases the capacity of customers allowed in to our venue.
We will also aim to empower our employees with the skills and services they need to succeed and thrive based on the following simple principles of Accountability, Respect, Recognition and Team Work.
In closing, I bring an expertise and understanding of the complexity of Golf Clubs. The ability to balance the needs and expectations of our members alongside the commercial aspects of our business. The importance of delivering an exceptional experience to our members.
