To all Members,
Please note that the colour of the stakes surrounding the penalty area have now been changed from Yellow to Red.
This gives the player an extra option of taking relief under rule 17. The player will now be allowed to take lateral relief if their ball has entered the penalty area.
The Committee feels that by changing the colour to red will eliminate the confusion of taking relief from this penalty area.
