Hole 17

This hole is Portarlington Golf Clubs’ signature hole. A Par 3 that requires a water carry of about 120 metres to green that sits right to left with a significant amount of slope. The tee shot is played in amongst the pine trees and these shield the wind so ensure you pick the correct direction of the wind.

The green is guarded by 3 bunkers and a right to left tee shot is ideal so you can use the slope of the green to get close to the flag. Putting can very difficult depending on the hole location and it is not uncommon to see the ball roll off the green. Par is a good score.
