Clubhouse Renovation Update

Stage two of the renovations is taking shape and management is happy to report that it is currently running on schedule and to budget with an expected completion date of early June.

"The View Room", as the name suggests, will have outstanding views overlooking the course and have a seating capacity of 180 people.  "We already have many local business booked in to use this facility", said CEO Ron Stockdale. "The ability to hold conferences, weddings and large group bookings merely adds another element to our terrific Club."

EJ Whitten Charity Golf Day February 21st

The 12th Annual Ej Whitten Charity Golf Day was another great golfing event on the Club's calendar, with 124 players gracing the course.

The PC Mobile Welding team, with locals Phil Winder, John Ekberg, Greg Wasmund and John Nicholson wining on the day with a great score of 51.75.

Arguably, the highlight of the day was the post game entertainment.  A delicious buffet was had by all followed by K Rock's Tom King slick tongue and sports knowledge as MC.  Not to be outdone with Tom's verbal gymnastics, guest speaker Sam Kekovich upped the ante and brought the house down with his classic humour and witty take on Australian Culture as it stands today.

The biggest winner overall on the day was that the event highlighted awareness for Mens Health as well as raising over $10,000 towards the Foundation.
