The final hole on the front nine is again lined with huge native trees that block any shot misdirected from the tee. The fairway meanders left, up and over a large ridge to expose a small target well protected by bunkers on each side of the green. The drive that is hit too straight can often run out of room on the right hand side of the fairway at the bend. There is a large landing area at about the 220m mark and golfers in play here are well advised to lay up with their second and pitch into the green, which slopes severely from back to front. Keep the ball under the hole for the best putt and to avoid running off the back.
